React Bootstrap overflow utility helps to quickly configure how content overflows an element.
Barebones overflow functionality is provided for two values by default, and they are not responsive.
.overflow-auto
on an element with set width and height dimensions. By
design, this content will vertically scroll.
.overflow-hidden
on an element with set width and height dimensions.
import React from 'react'
import { MDBContainer } from 'mdbreact';
const OverflowPage = () => {
return (
<MDBContainer className="d-md-flex">
<div className="overflow-auto" style={{ maxWidth: "260px" }}>
This is an example of using .overflow-auto on an element with set width and height dimensions. By
design, this content will vertically scroll.
</div>
<div className="overflow-hidden" style={{ maxWidth: "260px" }}>
This is an example of using .overflow-hidden on an element with set width and height dimensions.
</div>
</MDBContainer>
)
}
export default OverflowPage;
Using Sass variables, you may customize the overflow utilities by changing the $overflows
variable in
_variables.scss
.
